About the Innkeeper
Welcoming guests to experience the magic of Harbour House Inn Bed and Breakfast is my joy and delight.
A former English teacher and public school administrator, and an avid traveler, I have visited many parts of the world. Innkeeping is an ideal second career. It enables me to turn the tables and welcome guests from all over the globe to my part of the world. My ability to communicate in German, Czech, Hebrew and some French is often a delightful, and at times comforting, surprise to European travelers in the Berkshires. With my passion for cooking, I offer my guests the freshest seasonal ingredients in breakfast dishes that are at times familiar and at times adventurous, but always delicious.
This year Harbour House Inn Bed and Breakfast celebrates its 10th year. My husband Sam, who passed away in 2008, and I settled in the Berkshires in 2001. We fell in love with this area that is rich in natural beauty and has so much to offer culturally.
I provide my guests with excellent accommodations, feed them well, and find a commonality of spirit with them. It is my pleasure to assist my guests with finding just the right offerings that will enhance their visit to the region. It is my wish to provide my guests with a memorable and rewarding stay at a country inn with a warm and inviting ambience.
